There's also a scene in Empire where Yoda directs Luke to get his X-Wing fighter out of the mire using the force. Luke makes an attempt, can't do it and then flops down dejectedly at his failure. Yoda steps up, totally moves the X-Wing out and lands it on safe ground. To which Luke exclaims, "I don't believe it." Yoda sets him straight with, "that is why you fail."
As leaders do we believe we can make a change?

I believe we can make a change. The "force" is not always with us though. Change comes gradually---especially where we work.
If you don't believe it can happen, then those you lead won't either.
A leader that doesn't believe he can make a change or difference should rethink his role.
